Affiliate program terms
Version 2026-10-04. It is the version in force and the one accepted when joining the program.
What the program is
The ARGOS ATLAS affiliate program lets people with an audience (a channel, a profile, a newsletter, a website) recommend ARGOS ATLAS with a link of their own and earn a commission on what the customers they bring pay. It is run directly by the operator of ARGOS ATLAS, the same one that provides the service under the Terms and conditions. These terms apply on top of those Terms and of the Privacy policy: whatever is not covered here is governed by them. The contact address for anything about the program is [email protected].
Who can take part
Anyone of legal age with the legal capacity to enter into an agreement, or an entity through its representative, who can receive payments through PayPal, may join. You join with an ARGOS ATLAS account, by pressing the button to join, and by doing so you accept these terms. One person or entity is one affiliate.
Your link and how a sale is attributed
When you join you get an affiliate code. Every link of yours carries it (the via
parameter), whether it points to the map, a card, the home page, the pricing page or straight to the
payment.
- When someone clicks one of your links, their browser keeps a first-party ARGOS ATLAS cookie for 30 days. If they create an account or sign in to theirs in that time, that account is tied to your code.
- The first link clicked wins: if that person later clicks another affiliate's link, the sale is still yours.
- A purchase is attributed to you when it starts within those 30 days and is made by a new customer: an account that has never had a paid ARGOS PRO plan.
- Your own purchases, those of accounts you control, and those made without your link or outside the window are not attributed.
Tracking depends on each person's browser: someone who clears their cookies, browses privately or blocks them may not be tied to your code. The figures our systems record, which you see in your panel, are the ones commissions are calculated from.
The commission
You earn 20% of every payment made by the customer you brought, calculated on the amount before taxes (VAT or equivalent taxes excluded):
- On ARGOS PRO plans, monthly or annual, on the first payment and on every renewal of that subscription, for as long as the customer keeps paying it.
- On passes (one-time payments), once.
Other later purchases by that same customer do not earn a commission. Commissions are calculated in US dollars; a payment in euros or pounds sterling is converted at the reference exchange rate we use on the day the commission is recorded. Each commission is rounded down to the cent and, once recorded, is not recalculated.
Refunds and chargebacks
If a payment is refunded or reversed through a chargeback, its commission is deducted: if it had not been paid yet, it comes off the same payout it was in; if it had already been paid, it is deducted from your next commissions, and your balance may be negative until new ones make up for it.
When and how you get paid
- Each commission is paid on the 10th of the third month after the customer's payment: those of September sales, on December 10. That time is what it takes to confirm each sale: that the customer does not ask for a refund, that their bank does not reverse it with a chargeback and that no dispute is left open. Until that day it shows as still to be paid.
- That day we pay by PayPal, in US dollars, what is due to you if it reaches $100. If it does not, it carries over to the next month.
- Your panel always shows your next payout and the one after, each with its date and amount, and everything still to be paid to you.
- The payout goes to the PayPal email address you set in your panel. We send the full amount; whatever PayPal or your bank charges you to receive it is yours to bear.
- You are responsible for declaring your income and for any taxes due in your country.
- If you think a payout is wrong, write to us within the following 30 days and we will review it.
Your panel
In your affiliate panel you see your clicks, the accounts and carts your links bring and how many end in a sale, your commissions with refunds and chargebacks, your next payouts, what is still to be paid, your payout history and the link generator. And on the map, every card has a button only you see to share it with your link and its thumbnail. The panel shows aggregate figures: we do not share with you personal data of the customers you bring.
ARGOS free for content creators
If you are a content creator with more than 10,000 followers adding up your public profiles on all your networks, you can ask from your panel for a free ARGOS ATLAS plan to create content about the product. Our team reviews every request by hand, replies by email and may accept or reject it without having to give a reason; personal accounts and profiles that cannot be checked are not accepted. If we accept it, we decide the plan and the days: it comes with no card, ends by itself and is not a payment nor a commission. The profiles and followers you give us must be yours and real; if they are not, we may withdraw the plan and end your participation in the program.
How you may promote ARGOS ATLAS
You may recommend it on your networks, channels, newsletters, websites and videos, and in messages to your own audience, as long as you:
- tell the truth about the service: do not promise features, data or results it does not offer, nor present it as an official, security or emergency service;
- disclose that it is an affiliate link or sponsored content whenever the law or the platform you publish on requires it;
- use the ARGOS ATLAS name and logo only to recommend it, and without altering them;
- respect the acceptable use of the Terms and conditions, also in what you show of the map.
It is not allowed to:
- send unsolicited bulk messages or emails (spam);
- bid on search ads for «ARGOS ATLAS» or its variants, or use the brand in domains, profile names or ads that could be mistaken for the official ones;
- generate fake, automated or incentivised clicks or accounts, or set the cookie without the person having clicked your link;
- buy through your own link or with accounts you control;
- publish coupons or discounts we have not given you, or pass yourself off as ARGOS ATLAS;
- place your links next to content that is illegal, misleading, hateful or infringes the rights of others.
Suspension and leaving
You can leave the program whenever you want by writing to [email protected]. We may pause or end your participation at any time. If it ends with no breach on your part, we pay the commissions already earned on their dates, even if they do not reach the minimum, and you can still see them in your panel. In case of fraud or a breach of these terms, we may withhold and cancel the commissions affected.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms, including the commission, the time limits and the payout minimum. Substantial changes are announced by email at least 14 days in advance and apply to the commissions earned from the day they take effect: those already earned follow the terms of their time. Staying in the program after that date means accepting them.
Relationship between the parties and liability
You take part as an independent party: the program creates no employment, partnership or agency relationship, and you cannot bind ARGOS ATLAS nor speak on its behalf. The program is offered as is: we do not guarantee any level of sales nor that tracking works in every browser, and our liability to you is limited, at most, to the commissions you are owed. You are responsible for what you publish and for it complying with the law.
Personal data
We process the data of the program (name, email, PayPal email, statistics of your links and, if you ask for the creators' plan, your profiles and their followers) to manage your participation and pay you, as described in the Privacy policy. If you close your account, your requests and your affiliate record are deleted; the payouts we made to you are kept as accounting records, without your PayPal address.
