The 3D globe
The 3D globe's code is heavily influenced by and based on God's Eye View, Bilawal Sidhu's project: github.com/bilawalsidhu/gods-eye-view, under the MIT licence (licenses/gods-eye-view.txt). From it come, adapted, the frame governor, the atmosphere, the trackpad zoom, the camera icon, how aircraft are classified and when they are drawn in 3D, and the sharpening of the satellite imagery.
The 3D globe is drawn with CesiumJS (cesium.com), licensed under Apache 2.0.
The 3D models of the nearest aircraft are works by zairiq-123, Nick the Name, terran4627, e737, BlenderCommunityHead, IProZenoN, Nobilis 2 and Oyan3D, licensed under CC BY 4.0, in the version prepared for God's Eye View. Each credit and its changes: licenses/aircraft-models.txt.
The globe's starry sky is NASA's Deep Star Maps 2020: NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center Scientific Visualization Studio; Gaia DR2: ESA/Gaia/DPAC (svs.gsfc.nasa.gov/4851).
The globe's relief is Mapzen's Terrain Tiles on AWS Open Data, from SRTM, GMTED2010, ETOPO1, NED, EU-DEM and other public sources (registry.opendata.aws/terrain-tiles).
